Holiday Running Challenge

First, Runner’s World came up with the idea for a holiday running streak (http://www.runnersworld.com/cold-weather-running/2012-holiday-running-streak?cm_mmc=Twitter-_-RunnersWorld-_-Content-Training-_-HolidayRunStreak) a challenge to run at least a mile every day until  New Years.

Second, Ironman and Ultramarathon legend Tom Romnek came up with the idea of making it count for charity.

Here are some rules you can use as a guide. Feel free to amend as you and your budget see fit. A donation at any level will include you in the challenge.

1. Commit to running a mile every day from now to New Years

2. For every day you run, donate $1 to the Imagine No Malaria campaign. http://www.imaginenomalaria.org/

3. For every day you miss, donate $2 to the Imagine No Malaria campaign.

4. Get out and run!

If you would like to join the challenge, contact me and I will add your name to this page as an official challenger.

Donations to Imagine no Malaria can be made through the Central United Methodist website. Specify donations under “Special Offering”
